What is it about this little fish? To us it just has that “je ne sais quoi”, that special something. While in Japan a few years ago we visited a small regional town called Shimonoseki. This town is the Fugu capital of the world. Everywhere you go there are Fugu images. On the walls, floors and doors! They dress dried fugus in clothes just like Australians do to canetoads.

Have a look at the photos. They are pretty obsessed with Fugus so are we but most of all we like to see them in the sea and watch them freak out when you surprise them.

Anyway the little Fugu (Takifugu rubripes) is the official mascot of Coral Sea Television.
